Brief Job Description

The Psychology Department at SUNY Buffalo State invites applications for a full time tenure track position at the assistant professor level starting September 2018.  We are seeking candidates with a Ph.D. in Psychology in one of two areas:  Industrial/Organizational Psychology or Applied Child or Adolescent Developmental Psychology.

Required Qualifications

Applicants must have a Ph.D. in psychology prior to the official date of hire with a specialization in industrial/organizational psychology or applied child or adolescent development. Applicants must have a demonstrated commitment to undergraduate education and be qualified to teach courses in their area of interest. Applicants must also be qualified to teach departmental core courses (research methods, statistics, history and systems, senior seminar).

Preferred Qualifications

Applicants with prior college teaching experience and an established program of research are preferred.
